Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is hiring an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for a travel float pool assignment in Atlanta GA. The selected candidate will support multiple PCU/IMCU units caring for high-acuity cardiac patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Job Details:
- 13-week travel assignment
- Night shift schedule
- 3 shifts per week
- Float pool role covering all PCU/IMCU units
- Potential assignment to telemetry beds with lower acuity patients
- Patient ratio: 1:34
- EMR System: Epic
Clinical Experience Required:
- STEMI & NSTEMI care
- Chest pain and cardiac patient management
- Cardiothoracic surgery recovery patients
- Cardiac drips including:
- Milrinone
- Dobutamine
- Pressors
- Telemetry monitoring experience
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/IMCU experience in a similar-sized facility
- Active RN license
- Current AHA BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
- Strong cardiac and telemetry experience required
