As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in Normal IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer in a fast-paced automotive location where you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents and support daily operations through strong customer service and this role you will contribute to a caring team-oriented culture built on agility reliability innovation and integrity while helping create a positive experience for everyone on site.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings parking areas production-adjacent spaces and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify access permissions as directed by site procedures and report maintenance concerns hazards and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
• Support daily location operations by remaining visible providing directions and assistance and following Allied Universal protocols for reporting communication and incident response.

Minimum Requirements:

• This is primarily a driving post.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
