JobTitle:Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

Department:Legacy Hotel

Position Summary:Supports the daily operations of the Food & Beverage Department including Banquets/Catering Restaurant Room Service and Lounge Bar. This role partners closely with the Food & Beverage Director and Executive Chef to ensure exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of outstanding guest experienceswith the Food & Beverage department with a strong focus on service quality and product consistency

• Conduct regular floor walks tomonitorservice standards guest satisfaction and team performance

• Step in to support service operations during peak periods or staffing shortage

• Promote and sustain a positive professional and safety-focused workplace culture

• Ensure the Food & Beverage teamremainsinformed of daily activities group and VIP arrivals special requests and repeat guests

• Assistwith menu development and execution for banquets catering and all food & beverage outlets

• Assistwith labor planning and scheduling to meet business needs while managing payroll costs

• Maintain strong knowledge of POS systems; update pricing menu items and system content as needed

• Ensure team compliance with TIPSServSafe and internal training requirements

• Respond to guest requests and concerns in a friendly and solution-oriented manner

• Communicate effectively with kitchen and other hotel team members tomaintainservice timing

• Protect confidential guest and proprietary informationin accordance withcompany policies

• Otherduties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Previousexperience in Food&Beverage(restaurantorcatering)isrequired

• Strong customer service mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences

• Proven leadership communication and team-building skills

• Experience with POS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook)

• Knowledgeof food safety sanitation and alcohol service standards

• ServSafeand/or TIPS certification required or willingness to obtain

• Mustmaintaincomposure and objectivity while in stressfulhigh-pressuresituations

• Must be effective at listening to understanding and clarifying the issues raised byteam membersand guests

• Musthave a positive attitude and have a team mindset

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Ability to liftcarrymovepushand pull equipment or boxes up to 40lbs

• Ability to standand walkfor duration of shift

• Frequent lifting and carrying trays of food and drinks
