About the role:
Reporting to the Senior Lead Training and Development the Training Coordinator Maintenanceis responsible forthe development implementation and delivery of training for the Line Creek Maintenance Department.
To be successful we are looking for someonewithexceptional interpersonal communication and supervisory skills along withdemonstratedorganizational abilities and a proven capacity to prioritize workloads effectively. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented adaptable to changing environments and bringsa high levelof energy and initiative to their work.

In this role you will:

  • Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies

  • Provide and source training which includes job based supervisory and developmental instruction using materials that have been created both internally and externally

  • Deliver comprehensive training based on safe work procedures and site training requirements

  • Be the primary resource and providesupport and guidancefor the apprenticeship programsat the mine site

  • Act as the main contact for the ITA colleges and apprentices for schooling and scheduling requirements

  • Providecontinuous training support and guidance tothe Supervisors on their respective shifts and interact directly with the Maintenance Department

  • Work withmaintenance leadership team tocontinuallydeterminetraining needs and priorities assess training programs and work with staff to develop training courses plans and solutions

  • Prepare and develop plans for projects and programs involving coordination with other departments

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5years experiencein open pit mining maintenance or training environments isrequired

  • Ability toclearly and concisely instruct all levels of adult learners

  • Efficient computer skills including familiarity with company Training History Program Microsoft Office Suite: Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint would be an asset

  • Ability tomultitaskand keepaccuraterecords of all training events

  • Ability towork well in a team environment andhavetheability toinfluence/leadchange

  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License or equivalent

$109000 - $134000 a year
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidates relevant experience skills and competencies and considers internal equity.
