Job Summary
Shared Imaging is excited to announce our Spring 2026 preceptor program is open for applications! The goal of the preceptor program is to provide the opportunity for qualified staff to train new hires and assist our new employees as they orientate to the unit. The preceptors will be expected to maintain compliance in all items including dosimeter badges training certifications and employee health items as applicable.
To be eligible to take the preceptor course you must:
- Be at Shared Imaging for at least one year
- Be rated Exceed Expectations or Top Talent during the most recent performance review
- Have no outstanding compliance items
- Return all dosimeter badges if applicable
The preceptor program will include 3 different parts for training. You will start with a home self-study. Then we will have a live virtual session via teams all together to review the home study and expand on the information. Then finally there will be a hands-on portion in person where we will review the training standards and expectations for training new staff. Once all 3 portions are completed you will be awarded an additional $1.00/hour raise.
Travel for job training may be -person training is for one day and will be held during the end of June/early July. Dates are TBD.
