Up To $10K Sign-On Bonus

The Physical Therapist is a key member of the IDT focusing on care planning and the coordination and delivery of restorative and rehabilitative physical therapy services to participants working to maximize independence and safety.

This role is different because Physical Therapists at our facility:

  • Lower patient volumes no more seeing 3-4 patients an hour
    Form long-term relationships with participants rather than short-term rehab stints

On the day-to-day you will:

  • Conduct Physical Therapy assessments in our facility and occasionally in the home to define participant care needs preferences and goals
  • Actively participate in IDT meetings to develop participant care plans
    Deliver and document interventions as agreed upon in participant care plans
  • Provide active and passive exercise muscle re-education gait functional training of ADLs and treatments including massage heat sound water light or electricity
  • Supervise Therapy Assistants providing training instruction and guidance needed to implement Functional Maintenance Programs (FMP)
  • Provide training and instruction to staff participants and caregivers/families on the use and care of therapeutic equipment

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelors degree in physical therapy; masters or doctoral degree preferred
  • Two (2) years in clinical setting with frail or elderly population preferred
  • Valid California Physical Therapy License or proof of license eligibility
  • Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire and maintain certification thereafter; CPR and First Aid certification upon hire preferred
