Position Details:
Duration: This is a 4 Month contract position
Hours: Hybrid position M-TH in-office Fri work from home; 10am - 6pm 40 hrs/ week
Pay Rate Range:$35 to $40/hr
What to Expect as a Director of Retail Production:
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in executing merchandise needs for artist-specific e-commerce and touring campaigns
- Manage timelines and schedules across cross-functional teams
- Negotiate and cost-engineer products to meet retail targets and margins
- Assist in overseeing pre-production timelines and compliance with product specifications
- Assist with managing supplier relationships and product integrity throughout the development process.

Qualifications for Success:
- 3-5 years of experience in apparel and accessories production or product development
- Diverse market experience across various apparel segments including mens juniors and childrens wear
- Strong skills in cost negotiation with vendors and product engineering
- Music merchandise production experience is a plus.

Education:
- Bachelors degree in Product Development Textile Science Fashion Design or a related field (Preferred)
