- Base Salary: $110000 - $120000
- Annual Bonus: $2000
- Additional 10% Shift Differential on base salary
- Schedule: 6:00 PM - 4:00 AM
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This leadership role is responsible for driving safety quality productivity and employee development while ensuring production schedules are achieved.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on manufacturing leader with experience supervising assembly fabrication welding or metal manufacturing teams. You will work closely with engineering maintenance procurement logistics and plant leadership to improve operational performance and build a high-performing workforce.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily manufacturing operations across assembly and fabrication teams.
- Lead production planning staffing scheduling and workflow coordination.
- Ensure production targets quality standards and delivery schedules are consistently achieved.
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture throughout the facility.
- Identify production issues and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing 5S continuous improvement and waste reduction initiatives.
- Coach mentor and develop Team Leaders and production employees.
- Monitor KPIs and production metrics to improve efficiency and operational performance.
- Collaborate with Engineering Maintenance Quality Procurement and Logistics to resolve production challenges.
- Support hiring onboarding training and performance management of production staff.
- Maintain compliance with company policies quality standards and manufacturing procedures.
- Minimum 7 years of manufacturing experience in one or more of the following:
- Assembly
- Metal Fabrication
- Welding
- Industrial Manufacturing
- At least 4 years of supervisory or production leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of production scheduling manpower planning and shop floor operations.
- Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing 5S Continuous Improvement and quality initiatives.
- Strong leadership communication and employee coaching skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and manufacturing or production management systems.
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering Operations or a related field.
