Full-time Building Substitute (SY 2026-27)

Essex Westford School District (EWSD)has an opportunity for aFull-time Building Substitute to join the team atWestfordSchool.This position includes covering for teacher and staff absences across a variety of content areas and departments ensuring a safe inclusive and respectful environment for all students. The Building Substitute is full-time 8 hours per day during the school year.

Primary job duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Substitute coverage for licensed educator positions across a variety of content areas and departments
• Substitute coverage for a variety of support staff and paraeducator positions
• Provide general administrative classroom and school-wide support including supervising students as requested (during lunch study hall before and after school etc.)
• Attend and participate in all relevant training sessions meetings and professional growth activities and team meetings as requested
