Théories et modèles concernant la recherche dinformation et son utilisation tant au niveau individuel quinstitutionnel. Le cours porte sur lidentification et la représentation des besoins informationnels les stratégies et les techniques de recherche les questions déthique et les méthodes dévaluation le tout étant envisagé en fonction de différents types de communautés dutilisateurs et de paramètres technologiques. Doctorat ou Maîtrise en sciences de linformation (de préférence) ou dans une discipline connexe. Avoir une spécialisation ou une expérience de lenseignement de la matière. Avoir une expérience professionnelle dans le domaine relié au cours (de préférence). Évaluations de lenseignement satisfaisantes.
