Job Summary
RiggerPay: $25-$30 an hour (Dependent on Experience)Hours: Monday Friday 7am 3:30pmJob Summary The Rigger position completes a variety of rigging secure loads operates forklifts and other equipment. Supports operations by moving objects installing and dismantling equipment and obtains the necessary skills of the position. This is a safety sensitive levels and anchors loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving by using hand and power closely with the Foreman and crews to learn the process of moving machinery and items of size and pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures such as beams ceilings and gin pole booms using bolts and movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces using chain falls gin poles gallows frames and other rigging lines hoists and pulling gear to move or support materials such as heavy knowledge of equipment uses and follows procedures (i.e procedure for equipment placement on trailers for loading and off-loading; equipment tie down procedures)Learn and understand tools required for the job and the purpose of the and store rigging equipment after job appropriate or verbally directs workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure onsite at customer locations as neededAssist with other duties as High school diploma or equivalentUnderstanding of Rigging practicesAn interest in transportation and machinery to apply concepts of weights balances and to obtain necessary training and safety certifications to complete to attend rigging class as required
