What Makes This Role Great:

In this role you will be the primary guardian of data integrity and system performance for the Trimble Viewpoint product suite directly influencing the operational success of major construction projects and shaping the efficiency of cloud-deployed building technologies.

Key Exciting Responsibilities

• Mastermind SQL data manipulation troubleshooting and complex performance tuning in cloud environments.

• Solve high-stakes technical mysteries including data inconsistencies and application errors while working directly with customers to resolve critical live issues.

• Collaborate with engineering to implement performance optimizations and monitor production environments for sustainable high-speed operation.

• Champion knowledge sharing by developing technical articles and documenting innovative troubleshooting steps for a global audience.

• Spearhead software migrations and upgrades guiding customers through technical transformations to keep their businesses at the cutting edge.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven expertise in writing complex Microsoft Transact-SQL queries and troubleshooting triggers views and stored procedures.

• Deep working knowledge of Microsoft Reporting Services Financial Statements Reporting or Crystal Reports troubleshooting.

• Hands-on experience managing SQL Server Database Administration and relational database concepts in AWS or Azure.

• Strong technical problem-solving skills combined with a talent for clear professional customer communication.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience in database support.

Bonus Points For:

• Familiarity with the commercial construction industry including job costing payroll or project management workflows.

• Experience using remote desktop takeover tools like Bomgar Zoom or WebEx for technical support.

Logistics:

Location: Portland OR; Atlanta GA; or Westminster CO (4 days in office/1day remote)

Travel Requirement: 0-10%
