Shop Maintenance Technician Up to 30 ph DOE Greensboro, NC

Were looking for a hands-onSheet Metal Shop Maintenance Technicianwho takes pride in keeping equipment running safely efficiently and at peak performance. If you enjoy troubleshooting improving processes and being the go-to technical resource on the shop floor this role is for you.

What Youll Do

• Be asafety champion ensuring all assigned work areas operate with a proactive safety-first mindset in full compliance with OSHA and company guidelines.

• Set up operate and maintain a wide range of fabrication equipment includingpress brakes shears welders rollers plasma tables and other shop machinery.

• Perform routine inspections to identify wear defects and maintenance needsfixing issues before they become downtime.

• Communicate equipment concerns clearly and promptly so corrective action can be taken.

• Continuously evaluate shop processes and recommend improvements that enhanceproductivity equipment performance quality and workforce utilization.

• Serve as atechnical problem-solver helping diagnose equipment issues and supporting shop employees with hands-on solutions.

• Maintain tools parts and supplieskeeping the shop organized stocked and ready.

• Complete all required maintenance documentation accurately and on time.

• Train on all shop equipment required for the role including any additional training recommended by the EHS Manager.

What Were Looking For

• Previous sheet metal shop maintenance experience(required).

• Experience operating and maintaining shop equipment in a fabrication environment.

• Forklift and material handling experience;certification preferred.

• Pneumatic hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting experience is astrong plus.

• Acan-do take-ownership attitudewith a focus on teamwork safety and continuous improvement.
