Position is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support specifically related to supply chain and
procurement activities. Maintaining information on computer systems.
Entry level position. Works on assignments that are routine in nature. Works with either close supervision of clearly
defined procedures. Attendance and schedule adherence are requirements of this position.
Job Responsibilities:
Assisting with software procurement requests on a daily basis.
Checking queues and process software requests as well as validating proper licensing when required.
Verifying the accuracy of information entered in to databases.
Comparing entered data with source documents.
Reviewing and correcting database information when necessary.
Compiling sorting and verifying accuracy of the data to be entered.
Processing various forms.
Resolving routine questions and problems referring more complex issues to higher levels.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Job Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Typically requires less than 1 year of related experience. This is an entry
level position.
MS Access experience.
Familiarity with databases and procurement activities.
Procurement knowledge.
Experience with Remedy ticketing tool or similar.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to interact with others and maintain good working relationships.
Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to carry out multiple tasks and meet deadlines and/or SLAs.
Ability to follow instructions furnished both verbally and in writing.
Ability to thrive with fast-paced procurement processes.
Knowledge and application of fundamental concepts practices and procedures of the supported field.
Using established procedures and working under immediate supervision to perform assigned tasks.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and perform routine assignments.
