Job Summary
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role is responsible for delivering timely accurate and high-quality real estate fund accounting services supporting private equity real estate clients under the guidance of assigned supervisors. It focuses on core property-level and fund-level accounting processes handling low-complexity ad hoc tasks and standard client deliverables while performing self-reviews to ensure continuous improvement and quality outcomes. The role supports the preparation of NAVs financial statements capital call and distribution workings investor reporting and payment processing ensuring a strong linkage between property accounting outputs (SPVs and asset-level financials) and overall fund addition it assists in the onboarding and system conversion of real estate funds and property portfolios onto platforms such as Investran and Paxus ensuring accurate data migration. The position collaborates closely with internal teams to maintain compliance with firm policies regulatory requirements and client SLAs contributing to a collaborative and high-performing delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare NAV calculations financial statements and journal entries ensuring accurate consolidation of property-level (SPVs) financials into fund-level reporting
- Support capital calls distributions and investor reporting linking fund activities with underlying property performance and cash flows
- Record and review property accounting transactions including rental income operating expenses and accruals across multiple entities
- Assist in onboarding new real estate funds and system migrations (Investran/Paxus) including preparation of working papers and supporting schedules
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards internal controls and SLAs while managing deliverables resolving queries and maintaining data accuracy

Qualifications :
ABOUT YOU
- Education & Experience: Degree in Accounting Finance or Business Administration with a minimum of 4 years of experience in real estate fund accounting or property accounting within fund structures (e.g. SPVs private equity real estate funds)
- Systems Expertise: Experience in fund accounting systems and processes with exposure to property accounting platforms; familiarity with Yardi is an advantage
- Technical Accounting Skills: Strong expertise in preparing complex financial statements and NAVs with the ability to apply IFRS/GAAP standards across real estate investments and multi-entity structures with minimal supervision
- Analytical & Execution Strength: High attention to detail with proven ability to deliver accurate high-quality outputs while managing property and fund accounting deliverables within tight reporting timelines
- Tools & Organization: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple properties entities and fund reporting requirements
