Job Title: SDET / Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented SDET / Automation Tester to join the Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will design develop and execute both manual and automated test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of payment processing applications and related systems. The role requires strong analytical skills hands-on testing experience and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and execute manual and automated test cases for Credit/Debit Cards EBT and Gift Card transactions.
• Perform Functional Regression Integration and End-to-End testing across multiple applications and platforms.
• Identify document track and validate defects using Jira and Zephyr.
• Capture and analyze host and simulator logs for card brand submissions and troubleshooting.
• Validate data accuracy consistency and system efficiency through detailed analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate closely with Development Product and Business teams to understand requirements and define effective testing strategies.
• Create and maintain test plans test scenarios test cases and test closure reports.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within QA and automation processes.
• Participate in requirement reviews sprint planning and defect triage meetings.

Qualifications :

Required Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance Engineering Automation Testing or SDET roles.
• Strong experience in manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of payment processing systems including Credit/Debit EBT and Gift Card transactions.
• Understanding of ISO and UMF specifications.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Splunk Postman Zephyr and Jira.
• Experience with Shell scripting.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and a passion for quality assurance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Exposure to API testing and backend validation.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and CI/CD processes is a plus.
