• Practice Setting: Inpatient neurology across two hospitals
• Support/Care Team: Clinical nurse specialists stroke coordinators neurosurgeons hospitalists and intensivists
• EMR: Cerner

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient Neurohospitalist services to Manatee Memorial Hospital and Lakewoood Ranch Medical Center
• Treat a wide range of neurological disorders with a focus on acute stroke care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including clinical nurse specialists stroke coordinators and dedicated care management professionals.
• Comprehensive onsite neurosurgery services to support patient care

Qualifications

• Active or the ability to obtain a Florida Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant/Associate (PA) license
• Previous experience in Neurology or as an APP Neurohospitalist strongly preferred
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
