At AECOM we are currently seeking an Associate Cost Management to join our Galway office.

The Opportunity

As an Associate you will take a leading role in the delivery of Cost Management commissions with responsibility for ensuring successful outcomes from inception through to completion.

You will:

• Lead the delivery of Cost Management commissions ensuring they are completed on time within scope and to a high standard of client satisfaction.
• Provide leadership guidance and mentorship to Senior Surveyors Project Surveyors and Graduates supporting their development and performance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for AECOM clients (both new and existing) across assigned projects building and maintaining strong trusted relationships.
• Oversee the efficient management of commissions ensuring effective coordination of resources and delivery teams.
• Identify develop and lead bids for Cost Management services across the region supporting business growth and opportunity generation.
• Ensure all team members under your supervision maintain appropriate and up-to-date training and professional development.
• Manage the delivery of Cost Management outputs in line with agreed timelines quality expectations and client requirements.

Qualifications :

What Were Looking For

The successful candidate will bring experience within the buildings sector along with the following qualifications and professional credentials:

• Degree Qualified BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management.
• Professionally Qualified Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the SCSI / RICS
• 8-10 years proven experience in a consulting environment providing the full spectrum of CM services including Pre Contract Estimating; Procurement; Contract Administration Cost Reporting and Final Account resolution.
• Passionate about delivering high quality consulting services to our clients.
• Understanding of Public Works Contracts and RIAI standard forms of contract
• Proven ability to advise clients and design teams on cost value and risk not just cost in isolation.
• Excellent IT Skills and the ability to utilize digital measurement cost planning and tender document tools shall be essential.
