Facilities Technician

Eurofins Agroscience Services is searching for a Facilities Technician to work with our Operations team in Easton MD.

Facilities Technician responsibilities include:

• Assist scientists and other laboratory employees in the general day-to-day operation of the laboratory equipment.
• Maintains storage (organize and inventory) ensures equipment/supplies are available and in good working order.
• Maintain repair and troubleshooting laboratory equipment.
• Set up rooms and test units for studies.
• May handle regulated materials potential biohazard materials and toxic chemicals using proper labeling and dilution.
• Perform grounds maintenance including but not limited to mowing removal of leaves landscape maintenance snow and ice removal maintenance of driveways and parking areas.
• Assist with janitorial duties including but not limited to vacuuming sweeping mopping dusting cleaning sanitizing restocking supplies emptying trashcans and maintaining janitorial equipment.
• Completes cleaning maintenance and assigned tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Communicates effectively and regularly with supervisor regarding timelines project completion and any issues that may arise.
• Completes documentation legibly timely and accurately according to all regulatory requirements.
• Maintains and completes equipment logbooks.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Strong computer and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Self-motivation adaptability and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques perform multiple tasks simultaneously keep accurate records follow instructions and comply with company policies

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Drivers License
• Solid organizational skills.
• Good customer service.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information :

Position is full-time Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm with overtime as needed.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Easton MD are encouraged to apply.
