Business Development Director – Construction & Infrastructure

Xylem is looking for a commercially driven and strategic leader to help grow our business within the Construction & Infrastructure sector.

In this role youll lead market development activities for our water treatment products and services across Europe while also supporting global opportunities. Youll work closely with customers contractors engineers sales teams and product specialists to identify growth opportunities strengthen key relationships and shape solutions that meet industry needs.

Were looking for someone who is comfortable working independently enjoys collaborating across teams and regions and brings both commercial drive and industry knowledge to the table.

Travel 2550% across Europe with occasional international travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive growth strategies for the Construction & Infrastructure market

• Build strong relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders

• Identify and advance new business opportunities across regions

• Partner with sales marketing product management and R&D teams

• Support go-to-market activities value propositions and market campaigns

• Share market insights and industry trends to help shape future solutions

• Help grow market penetration and customer share across the segment

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in business Engineering Environmental Science or similar field

• Several years of experience in business development commercial leadership or strategic sales

• Experience in construction infrastructure water treatment or related industry

• Strong commercial background with experience in solution or value-based selling

• Ability to think strategically while also staying close to customers and opportunities

• Comfortable building relationships across different cultures teams and markets

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Experience working internationally is a plus

• Fluent English is required
