Junior Security Engineer

Job Description:

We are hiring aJunior Security Operations Engineerto providedaytoday operational security supportin an onsite SOC environment. This is an entrylevel role with handson exposure to enterprise security tools and incident handling.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage security alerts using Splunk SIEM

• Provide operational support for:

  • Tenable security scanner

  • Antivirus and endpoint security tools

  • Carbon Black (EDR)

  • HSM and encryption software

• Support investigation and escalation of security incidents

• Perform routine security operations (log monitoring health checks vulnerability scans)

• Maintain incident records and operational documentation

• Work closely with senior analysts and IT teams

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree inCybersecurity IT Computer Science or related field

• Basic knowledge of security operations and incident response

• Familiarity with SIEM endpoint protection and vulnerability scanning tools

• Understanding of Windows/Linux and basic networking concepts

• Willing to workonsiteand support operational shifts if required

• Open to fresh grad.

Preferred

• Exposure to Splunk Tenable Carbon Black HSM encryption solutions

• Entrylevel security certifications (e.g. Security SC900)

• SOC IT operations or security internship experience
