We are seeking a Compliance Student to assist with Veos Compliance initiatives. You will work closely with the Legal and Compliance Team focusing on supporting our Senior Compliance Manager and building and implementing our Compliance Program. As our Legal and compliance function continues to develop this is an excellent opportunity for you to contribute to Veo as we grow significantly.
Key responsibilities:
- Contribute to the roll-out and monitoring of Veos compliance and sustainability program.
- Support the implementation of compliance policies and internal training initiatives.
- Help evaluate legal requirements and compliance standards across foreign jurisdictions.
- Assist with our sanctions and human rights due diligence initiatives.
- Maintain documentation and help track updates to regulatory obligations.
- Participate in preparing reports presentations and related material.
- Monitor developments in ESG compliance and regulatory trends relevant to Veos global operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on compliance governance and sustainability projects.
- Implement AI solutions to further automate and enhance our Compliance Program.
Your qualifications:
- A masters degree student in law business law or a related field.
- An interest in compliance as well as sustainability.
- A person who thrives on dealing with diverse tasks and developing solutions that align with business needs including automation and digitalization.
- Proficient communication skills (English both oral and written).
- A keen interest in AI and programming is a major plus.
At Veo the Legal & Compliance Team is part of the Finance Team and you will report to the Senior Compliance Manager.
