Job Summary
We are looking for a Worldwide Supply Planner to drive endtoend global supply planning across a complex multiregional supply network. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product availability while optimizing inventory cost and service levels across regions manufacturing sites and suppliers.
The successful candidate will partner closely with Demand Planning Manufacturing Procurement Logistics Finance and other key stakeholders to translate demand signals into executable optimized global supply plans.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain global supply plans aligned with the approved demand forecast.
- Convert unconstrained demand into realistic constrained supply plans considering capacity lead time and material availability.
- Ensure alignment between global plans and regional execution.
- Optimize inventory positioning across regions to meet service level targets
- Balance safety stock inventory investment and aging risk.
- Identify and mitigate excess obsolete and slowmoving inventory risks.
- Identify constraints early and develop mitigation scenarios (reallocation prioritization capacity rampups).
- Act as a central integrator across demand planning manufacturing procurement logistics and regional teams.
- Facilitate alignment across global and regional stakeholders.
- Lead or support Supply Review discussions within S&OP / IBP.
- Present supply risks tradeoffs scenarios and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Translate executive decisions into executable supply plans.
- Proactively identify global supply risks including supplier capacity logistics and geopolitical disruptions.
- Build and evaluate whatif scenarios to support decisionmaking.
- Monitor and analyze supply planning KPIs (service level inventory turns OTIF plan adherence).
- Drive continuous improvement in planning processes tools and data accuracy.
- Support planning system enhancements and automation.
Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year Degree in Supply Chain Data Analytics or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 0-2 years of work experience preferably in marketing data analytics or a related field.
Proficiency in planning system such as SAP S/4HANA IBP.
