Job Summary

As a Finance Assistant & Administrator you will support the Finance Manager and the wider business with a combination of finance and administrative tasks. You will help ensure that financial processes run accurately and efficiently while maintaining organised records and supporting internal stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing purchase invoices and matching invoices to purchase orders
  • Assisting with supplier payment runs
  • Raising sales invoices
  • Supporting credit control activities
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations
  • Supporting month-end processes
  • Supporting external and internal audit activities
  • Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations including accruals prepayments and fixed assets
  • Processing employee expenses
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems
  • Supporting the shared finance inbox and handling ad hoc tasks
  • Supporting the Finance Manager when required
  • Providing administrative support for People & Organisation and company fleet administration

Qualifications :

Essential

  • Previous experience in a finance or accounts assistant role
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience using accounting software or ERP systems
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Good communication skills and a structured working style

Desirable

  • AAT qualification completed or currently in progress
  • Experience supporting month-end processes
