Finance Assistant
Job Summary
As a Finance Assistant you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the finance process.
Ideal Candidate
Essential:
- Accountable for invoicing and payroll including billing hours and expenses
- Process invoice and follow up as appropriate with clients and suppliers
- Reconciliation of bank statements and ensuring all calculations and data entries are correct
- Assist in creating regular financial reports to support understanding of business performance
- Respond to finance enquiries providing support to stakeholders third parties and clients as needed
- Ensure compliance with Home Insteads Equality Diversity & Equal Opportunities Policy across employment and service delivery
Desirable:
- AAT or ACCA qualification is desirable
- Proven experience of working in a finance environment
- Knowledge of fiancé and accounts including Accounts Receivable Credit Control or Accounts Payable
- Experience of an accounting package (i.e. Xero)
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to multitask
- Self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to be a team player or stand alone
