Schedule: Training on 1st Shift then transition to 2nd Shift

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician I to support quality control operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for evaluating finished products and incoming materials through a variety of testing methods ensuring all products meet established quality standards.

The ideal candidate brings a strong attention to detail the ability to interpret technical data and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform sensory analytical chemical microbiological and physical testing on finished goods and incoming materials in accordance with specifications
• Conduct routine plant inspections process checks and internal audits
• Support environmental monitoring programs including swab testing and reporting results
• Identify and investigate non-conforming materials; analyze data and assist in determining root cause and corrective actions
• Assist with customer complaint investigations as needed
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment per established procedures
• Document and communicate test results findings and trends to the Quality Supervisor and team
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to quality systems and testing processes
• Provide general support to the Quality team as needed

Qualifications

• Associates degree or certification in a science-related field preferred or
• 12 years of experience in a food manufacturing or laboratory environment
• Ability to interpret and organize technical data for analysis and reporting
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Solid attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Compensation & Additional Details

• Pay:$21.00/hour
• Shift Differentials:
  • 2nd Shift: $0.55/hour
  • 3rd Shift: $1.00/hour
