The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is looking for a Contracts Manager to lead the team supporting our National Programs portfolio onsite in El Segundo CA.
In this leadership position you will lead the Contracts team supporting a portfolio of proprietary space and ground programs. You will mentor and develop a talented and growing group of contract management professionals while building strong relationships with external customers and cross-functional Boeing teams. Youll both act as a subject matter expert in the capture and execution of government contracts while engaging with senior leadership to set strategic priorities and drive success in our satellite business.

Position Responsibilities:
Develops and implements complex and creative contractual solutions to manage risk and support the proposal negotiation and execution of programs
Inspires and manages a team of employees engaged in contract management activities
Implements impactful policies and procedures while setting ambitious operational goals
Leads process improvements that drive success
Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with customers stakeholders peers cross-functional partners and direct reports

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
Bachelors degree or higher
5 years of experience working on government proposals to include Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) compliant proposals
5 years of experience drafting negotiating and administering contracts in programs with multiple customers and multiple contract types such as: general terms agreements assignment agreements nondisclosure agreements purchase and sale agreements
Experience in Satellite or Space Programs
Experience with Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) compliance
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader temp manager large scale cross functional project/program management or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course Exploring Leadership
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10 years of experience leading or managing proposal development and negotiating government contracts
5 years of experience with commercial contracts
5 years of experience with classified government contracts
Masters of Business Administration
