Job Title: OR Tech / Surgical Tech
Location: Syracuse NY

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 15:00)
Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking OR Tech / Surgical Tech for an exciting Travel or Local job in Syracuse NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and maintain sterile surgical environments
• Scrub and assist during surgical procedures
• Prepare and organize surgical instruments and supplies
• Support surgical teams during procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control standards
• Assist with patient positioning and room setup
• Ensure accurate instrument and supply counts
• Support efficient turnover between surgical cases
• Communicate effectively with surgical team members
• Perform additional duties as assigned within surgical services

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room experience within the last 4 years
• Experience in Level I or Level II trauma center or teaching hospital required
• Strong scrub experience required
• Experience with orthopedic general ENT vascular and GYN procedures
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• License/certification in good standing
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening

Preferred Qualifications:

• Surgical Technologist Certification preferred
• BLS Certification preferred
• Experience in neurosurgery trauma bariatric GU and pediatric surgery
• Previous travel experience preferred
