Position Overview
A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced and strategic pharmacy executive to serve as the Vice President of Pharmacy Services. This leadership role oversees pharmacy operations clinical services regulatory readiness and financial performance across multiple acute care facilities in Nevada and California.
This opportunity is ideal for a proven pharmacy leader with multi-site hospital experience who can drive operational excellence strengthen pharmacy leadership teams and support high-quality patient care initiatives across a regional healthcare division.
Key Responsibilities
Provide executive leadership for pharmacy operations clinical services compliance and cost management
Lead strategic pharmacy initiatives aligned with organizational goals and patient care standards
Partner with executive and facility leadership to advance pharmacy practice and operational performance
Analyze pharmacy utilization purchasing trends and financial metrics to identify improvement opportunities
Ensure regulatory preparedness and operational effectiveness across all facilities
Develop and implement pharmacy business process improvements to optimize performance and reduce costs
Collaborate with Supply Chain Clinical Services and executive stakeholders on division-wide initiatives
Mentor and support Directors of Pharmacy and pharmacy leadership teams
Strengthen internal partnerships and improve service delivery across facilities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required
Active Pharmacist License required
Nevada Pharmacist License required (or ability to obtain within required timeframe)
Minimum 5 years of progressive pharmacy leadership experience within acute care hospitals
