Join our team and play a vital role in supporting animal welfare and life-changing research. As an Animal Facility Cleaner your work directly contributes to maintaining a safe ethical and high-quality environment for animals and staff.
We are looking for someone who demonstrates:

- Pride in delivering consistently high cleaning standards

About the Role
- Cleaning and sanitising animal cages and bottles and maintaining other areas within the facility.
- Working with and maintaining equipment such as lab cage washers and autoclaves.
- Waste disposal in line with safety protocols.
- Supporting infection control and biosecurity measures.
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and organisation.
The classification for this position will be IN20 ($57002 per annum)
Your Contribution
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow strict procedures and guidelines
- Commitment to animal welfare and workplace safety
- Previous cleaning or animal facility experience (desirable but not essential)
- A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check or willing to obtain
