Key Responsibilities (Specific to the Technician Role):

The successful candidate will play an integral role in our medical team utilizing their full range of technical skills in a fast-paced yet supportive environment. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Surgical preparation monitoring and recovery
• Anesthesia induction and maintenance
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians
• Performing dental prophylaxis charting and radiographs
• Phlebotomy IV catheter placement and laboratory sample processing
• Collecting and analyzing diagnostic samples (e.g. cytology urinalysis)
• Providing compassionate patient nursing care and pain management
• Educating clients on pet health post-operative care and preventative medicine
• Accurate medical record keeping
