CEENTA is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Ophthalmic Imaging Technician to deliver high-quality visual imaging and diagnostic services to our this role you will work closely with Providers and clinical teams to perform advanced ophthalmic imaging ensure accurate documentation and support efficient patient flow across our clinics.
What You Will Do
- Explain visual imaging and diagnostic procedures to patients and families
- Perform ophthalmic imaging and diagnostic testing including visual fields fundus photography OCT corneal topography biometry keratometry lensometry angiography and other advanced imaging
- Document imaging results accurately in the EHR for provider review
- Manage imaging schedules appointments and EHR work queues
- Prepare and maintain imaging rooms and sterilize equipment per OSHA standards
- Troubleshoot and maintain imaging equipment
- Maintain clinical supply inventory and place orders as needed
- Assist with onboarding and training of new staff
- Travel to CEENTA locations as required
A Typical Day
- Welcome patients and guide them through visual imaging procedures
- Collaborate with Providers and clinical staff
- Ensure precise documentation and efficient patient flow
- Support high-quality compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment
Schedule
- MonFri 8a5p; occasional early or late clinic rotation pending providers schedule.
- Hours subject to variation based on clinic needs
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between sites
QualificationsWhat Youll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 13 years of ophthalmic or optometric imaging experience preferred
- ICA-accredited training or IJCAHPO/AAO independent study preferred
- COA COT OCT-C certification preferred
- BLS certification (required if performing angiography)
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between sites
