Our Caterpillar Remanufacturing Division currently hasan opening for a Logistics Planning Analyst position located in the Corinth MS facility. The primary focus of this position will be to implement material replenishment strategies across MS Reman.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- This position will monitor and report on inventory turns material availability.
- This position will interface with external suppliers engineering quality and the operations teams to resolve material issues as they arise.
- This candidate will use proactive tools such as Lean DNA to minimize material shortages across Mississippi.
- This position will involve expediting and de-expeditingmaterial based off demand and inventory levels.
- This position involves collaborating with external suppliers to procure material in a timely manner.
- You will be asked to approve the sale of material to other CAT facilities and manage the transportation to its destination.
- You will be expected to report on any material shortages in a daily materials meeting with Supply Chain management.
- This position requires candidate to be in the office on site.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
- Material procurement experience to include some or all of the following components:
- Planning analyst experience
- Parts procurement experience
- Inventory management experience
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
- College or University degree
- APICS CPIM or CSPC National Certification
- Experience with an MRP system (Material Requirements Planning) schedules are input and populates supplier schedules or production scheduling (Highly desired)
- Understanding of Bill of Material and the change management process
- Experience with MFG Pro
- Knowledge of Location Management System (LMS) and High Velocity Caterpillar (HVC).
Physical Requirements:
- Considerable amounts of walking.
- Light lifting as needed. Less than 10lbs.
- May walk squat and bend for intervals of 15-30 minutes
- Must be able to wear proper PPE.
Job Bid Eligibility Requirements:
- Any current agency workers applying to this position must have worked the required 300 hours in order to be considered as well as meeting all requirements for the position.
Additional information
Starting hourly pay rate of $22.90 (pay negotiations based on skills/experience)
Work Hours: 7am-3pm; Monday - Friday
40-hour work weeks with potential for overtime
80 hours of vacation with an additional 3 days (hours dependent on work schedule) of Paid Time Off (PTO) (all prorated based on hire date)
10 Paid holidays

Summary Pay Range:
$22.25 - $28.95Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjob-related knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
