Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Accountant III to perform advanced accounting financial reporting budgeting and analytical responsibilities. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working with complex financial data supporting regulatory compliance and partnering with business leaders to improve financial processes and decision-making.
The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting forecasting budgeting accounting operations and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities Financial Analysis & Reporting-
Analyze and prepare financial studies related to accounting finance budgeting billing taxation and capital expenditures.

Perform complex financial analyses including:

Budget forecasting

Book and tax depreciation

Tax deferrals
-
Financial ratio analysis
-
Billing adjustments
-
Rate and tariff schedules
-
Derivative accounting entries and disclosures

Prepare quarterly financial reports and income statements.

Analyze forecast versus actual expenses and identify key variances.

Support accounting activities related to billing invoicing gross reporting and financial reporting.

Assist in maintaining accounting applications and financial reporting systems.

Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) internal controls and company accounting policies.

Prepare reconciliations and support monthly and year-end close activities.

Assist in annual budgeting and financial planning processes.
-
Prepare financial forecasts and support business planning initiatives.
-
Perform cost analyses and financial modeling to support operational decisions.
-
Prepare governmental and regulatory reports.
-
Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and applicable regulatory standards.

Research new accounting regulations and evaluate their impact on financial reporting.

Support internal and external audits.

Provide guidance training and mentoring to accounting staff.

Assist in assigning priorities and monitoring work quality.

Collaborate with management auditors and regulatory agencies.

Present financial information and recommendations to business stakeholders.

Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.

Experience applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Strong background in financial accounting reporting budgeting forecasting and financial analysis.

Experience with financial reporting systems accounting software and ERP platforms.

Experience preparing financial reports accounting studies and business recommendations.

Ability to interpret accounting standards financial regulations and company policies.

Experience supporting audits and regulatory reporting.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications.

Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems.

Strong analytical mathematical and financial modeling abilities.
