The Role
Were seeking a Shift Technician Electricalto help keep critical airport facilities safe reliable and operating efficiently throughout the night. Working across a major aviation environment youll deliver preventative and reactive electrical maintenance while supporting operational continuity and rapid incident response.
This is a permanent full-time night shift role working 8:00pm 4:00am 5 days per week. Youll work closely with Facilities Managers the FM Hub and other trades to ensure electrical systems and assets remain compliant operational and maintained to the highest standards.
From day one youll be set up for success with a modern fleet vehicle fully maintained and fitted out specifically for technical services work plus the latest tools technology and supportive team culture.

What Youll Be Doing
- Deliver preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across site assets and systems
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs to minimise downtime and operational disruption
- Respond to urgent breakdowns and critical electrical incidents within required response times
- Complete work orders accurately within CMMS systems including materials labour and completion details
- Support minor works electrical upgrades and replacement projects
- Follow safe systems of work including permits isolations SWMS and site safety procedures
- Participate in night shift handovers operational briefings and emergency response activities
- Work collaboratively with Facilities Managers subcontractors and other trades to ensure seamless service delivery
- Identify recurring faults and contribute to continuous improvement and asset reliability initiatives
- Ensure all works comply with WHS requirements electrical standards and contractual obligations
Your Education Experience & Skills
- Trade qualification as a Licensed Electrician (essential)
- Current Electrical Licence relevant to New South Wales
- Demonstrated experience maintaining electrical systems within commercial industrial or infrastructure environments
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience with preventative and corrective maintenance practices
- Experience using CMMS systems such as Maximo or similar work order management platforms
- Sound understanding of WHS requirements electrical safety standards and compliance obligations
- Ability to work effectively within a night shift roster and fast-paced operational environment
- Strong communication teamwork and customer service skills
- Experience in aviation transport or critical infrastructure environments highly regarded
- ASIC Clearance (desirable)
- Full working rights in Australia (essential)
