Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) Location: Oswego NY Duration: 13 Weeks Hours: 40 Hours/Week (5x8) Shift: Days Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Compensation:
Travel Rate: $38$40/hour ($1425 $1500/week) based on experience
Local Rate: $32$35/hour ($1200 $1312/week) based on experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented LPN/LVN to support patient care operations in a clinical/medical office setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills clinical knowledge and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist with office and medical procedures
Room patients and obtain vital signs
Support patient scheduling and referral processing
Maintain accurate patient documentation within the EMR system
Assist nursing and administrative staff with daily operations
Communicate effectively with patients providers and healthcare teams
Utilize medical terminology and clerical skills to support workflow efficiency
Ensure high-quality customer service and patient experience
Follow infection control and patient safety protocols
Qualifications & Requirements:
Graduate of an Accredited Practical Nursing Program with active New York LPN License
BLS Certification required
Current CPR Certification required
Strong clerical computer and data entry skills
Knowledge of medical terminology required
Experience with EMR systems preferred
Minimum 1 year of medical office experience preferred
Knowledge of third-party insurance processes preferred
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED required
LPN graduate from an accredited program required
