Essential Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:The Enterprise IT Support Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the operational effectiveness and compliance of special sites. This role combines hands-on technical support with proactive security monitoring and risk mitigation. Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Perform routine maintenance and monitoring of IT systems across multiple special sites to ensure continuous operational availabilityExecute system patching upgrades and configuration changes in accordance with approved change management processesTroubleshoot and resolve hardware software and network issues to minimize service disruptionsProactively identify and assess cybersecurity risks vulnerabilities and potential performance degradationImplement corrective actions to address identified security gaps and maintain compliance with Army cybersecurity policies and DoD standardsMonitor system logs and security alerts to detect and respond to potential security incidentsDocument all maintenance activities configuration changes and security incidentsCoordinate with stakeholders to plan and execute system changes during approved maintenance windowsMaintain current knowledge of applicable cybersecurity frameworks including RMF NIST and DoD STIGsPrepare and submit required compliance documentation and status reportsParticipate in assessments audits and continuous monitoring activitiesEducation and Experience:Associates degree in Information Technology Cybersecurity Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university5 years of experience in IT support system administration or cybersecurity3 years of experience working with DoD IT systems and security requirementsCurrent DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAM Level I certification (Security CE CCNA Security or equivalent)Experience with RMF (Risk Management Framework) processes and compliance requirementsActive Secret security clearance Required Skills and Competencies:Strong understanding of DoD cybersecurity policies including DISA STIGs NIST 800-53 controls and Army regulationsProficiency in Windows and Linux server administration and security hardeningExperience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g. ACAS/Nessus) and remediation processesKnowledge of network security concepts including firewalls VPNs and intrusion detection systemsAbility to perform system patching and configuration management using enterprise toolsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressureExperience with monitoring tools and log analysis for security and performance issuesExcellent documentation skills and attention to detail for compliance reportingAbility to work independently with minimal supervision in remote or austere locationsStrong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesEffective communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholdersWillingness to work non-standard hours or respond to emergency situations as neededClearance Requirement:Secret Clearance Our Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
