Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory data at all times. Will be required to work in high places and operate forklift and lift trucks at times. This position also supports receiving specialists throughout the day along with reviewing work order documentation for accuracy and Viant Authority:Acts after approval weighs actions and acts only after their supervisor has approved their chosenaction. Follows standardized procedures and practices. Work is generallycollaborative in nature. Directed in several aspects of the Job Functions:Perform regular cycle counts of finished goods and componentsVerify the accuracy of inventoryAid in locating materials in WarehouseInvestigate discrepancies between electronic and actual inventory counts on shop floorPerforms root cause analysis on large discrepancies as periodic adjustments to electronic inventory to match physical countsPerform other duties andassist in other areas as neededReview WO documentation review misc requisitions to confirm MR have been processedprocessany misc requisitionsthathave not been WO for any necessary reconciliations additions or corrections as follows all safety and Education:High school diploma or Experience:0-2 years cycle counting/warehouse and Competencies:Basic math and organization skills detail orientedAbility to bend and lift40poundsData entry and computer skillsAbility to work on feet for long hoursForklift skills suggestedEquipment Used:Standard Office ComputerPallet Jack Electric Pallet Jack Forklift/Reach TruckPhysical Requirements:Moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous day-to-day activities of a primarily productive nature. (Lifting 40 lbs. /carrying 25 lbs.)Moderate lifting carrying bending pushing/pulling and prolonged dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items works with fingers and perceives attributes of objects and the ability to identify and distinguish the ability to judge distance and space relationships (i.e. visualize objects of multiple dimensions).Must be able to handle chemicals safely and be able to use protective clothing/devices as outlined in to work in a well-lighted climate controlled warehouse setting with adequate ventilation
