Shift: 12-Hour Night Shifts
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse for a high-acuity Surgery Trauma Unit in Atlanta GA. This role involves caring for complex trauma and surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Job Details:
- 13-week travel assignment
- Night shift schedule
- 3 shifts per week
- High-acuity Surgery Trauma Unit
- No block scheduling available
- EMR System: Epic
- Patient ratio: 5:1
Patient Population:
- Spinal trauma patients
- Neuro trauma patients
- Surgical trauma cases
- Gunshot wound patients
- Quadriplegic patients
- Paraplegic patients
Support Staff Available:
- Nursing Support Technicians
- Phlebotomists
- Night shift unit secretary
- ED and admitting unit nurse handoff process
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical experience
- Trauma or high-acuity surgical experience preferred
- Active RN license
- Current AHA BLS Certification required
- ACLS preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
