Armed Security Officer Full Time Day Shift

As a Armed Security Officer - Day Shift in San Antonio TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail location you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols remain visible to help deter security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors customers and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a busy retail location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting notable activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store parking areas loading zones and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances exits high-traffic areas and/or restricted spaces while remaining alert to suspicious behavior policy violations and conditions that may require a response.
• Work with local management staff and/or first responders during incidents medical calls and unusual events while following post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas only.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
