Conformal Coating Operator Spraying

Position Title: Conformal Coating Operator - Sprayer

Department: Conformal Coat

Location: Santa Ana CA

FLSA Status: Non-exempt Full- Time

Job Summary:

The Conformal Coating Operator position is responsible for applying protective coatings to electronic components using specialized equipment ensuring quality standards are met in a high-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include but not limited to full scope of Parylene Process.

Record keeping for machine maintenance purposes.

Operate several different types of dispensing and coating machines to meet customer specifications.

Inspect assemblies to ensure proper coating coverage.

Maintain the coating and dispensing machines to ensure proper operating condition.

Maintenance includes changing fluids and cleaning machines to ensure efficient operation.

Perform general housekeeping duties to always provide a safe and clean working environment.

Additional tasks may be assigned by the supervisor to accommodate fluctuating production requirements.

Assist with companywide tasks.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk on hard surfaces for extended periods throughout the shift

Ability to lift carry push and pull up to 50 lbs regularly

Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to handle small delicate components and operate conformal coating spray equipment

Ability to perform repetitive hand wrist and arm motions throughout the shift

Visual acuity sufficient to inspect coated components for quality coverage and defects

Must be able to wear required PPE including safety glasses chemical-resistant gloves and respirator when working with coatings and solvent
