Job Summary
- Set up and operate blown film extrusion equipment to meet production and quality standards
- Monitor processes and product quality and make adjustments as needed
- Perform in process quality testing and document results
- Complete job changeovers and prepare equipment for upcoming runs
- Troubleshoot process and equipment issues and escalate when needed
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Follow all safety GMP SQF and plant policies and report near misses or incidents immediately
- Participate in team meetings continuous improvement projects and training activities
- Perform routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S standards
- Support training of new team members
- Perform housekeeping and other duties as assigned
- Manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred but not required. Training provided
- Ability to operate pallet jacks forklifts and basic hand tools
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand sit bend and stoop throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and pull at least 50 pounds and move heavier loads using hand trucks or material handling equipment
