As an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician at ROCKWOOL you will be responsible for maintenance repair and troubleshooting of the latest electrical equipment. Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor you have a keen eye to identify potential problems in electrical design and will work as part of a dynamic team of industrial electricians and electrical engineers collectively focused on continuous improvement and operational uptime.

What you bring:- 2-year degree or equivalent certification or work experience required.
- 2-3 years practical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment and with automated equipment required.
- Proficient knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers(PLC)/Automation specifically Siemens and EndressHauser instrumentation;
- Grow and develop the team by sharing knowledge/experience.
- Act as anambassador demonstrating our core values of Ambition Integrity Responsibility and Efficiency.
What you will be doing:- Install and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) using skills to troubleshoot with communication software.
- Perform Electrical and PLC tasks including but not limited to the following: Calibrating monitoring repairing and maintaining transmitters controllers plant safety systems power systems and sensors.
- Maintain equipment by way of planned preventive maintenance programs keeping maintenance records per company policies as well as advanced troubleshooting of electrical/electronic equipment during shift.
- Provide electrical and instrumentation support to the functional area to ensure production can continue in a safe and effective manner.
- Install calibrate maintain test troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical instrumentation equipment and associated electrical/electronic controls and related devices for continuity current voltage and resistance.
- Install visually examine replace or repair electrical wiring receptacles switch boxes transformers conduits feeders fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies lighting fixtures and other electrical components.
