Job Summary
Position Summary:
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and revise standards specifications and design criteria to be used by CNP utilizing MicroStation CAD software.
Ensure design adherence to applicable internal standards and procedures and ensure compliance with external code requirements (NESC ANSI ASTM IEEE ERCOT NERC etc.).
Design and develop systems components or processes based on project specifications and requirements.
Conduct testing analysis and evaluations to ensure functionality safety and compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project planning and execution.
Prepare technical documentation reports and drawings to communicate engineering concepts.
Identify and troubleshoot technical issues proposing effective solutions.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in engineering software and tools relevant to the discipline.
Ability to interpret technical drawings specifications and data.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of industry standards and engineering best practices.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Education/Experience:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology required.
CAD software experience
Extensive design experience
Experience with MicroStation
Strong drafting skills and drafting software experience
