Job Description
The Test / QA Lead is responsible for defining managing and executing the quality assurance strategy to ensure the delivery of high-quality reliable software solutions. This role leads testing efforts across the software development lifecycle coordinates QA resources establishes testing standards and works closely with development product and business stakeholders to mitigate risk and ensure system readiness. Familiarity with establishing a new software testing program which includes standards templates procedures and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Define and own the overall QA and testing strategy across projects and releases
Lead test planning execution and reporting for functional integration system regression and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Develop and maintain test plans test cases test scripts and traceability matrices
Coordinate QA activities across internal teams and third-party vendors
Ensure alignment between requirements test coverage and acceptance criteria
Manage defect tracking prioritization and resolution
Establish QA standards best practices and test governance processes
Oversee test environments test data preparation and release readiness assessments
Provide risk-based testing recommendations and go/no-go input for releases
Required Qualifications
5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
3 years of experience in a QA Lead or Test Lead
Strong understanding of SDLC Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools
Experience in automated testing frameworks and tools
Experience leading UAT and working with business stakeholders
Experience in clinical healthcare environments
