Job Title: DH - General Machinist

Salary : USD 41600.00 - USD 62400.00

Schedule: 1 Shift

Qualifications:

• Strong machining background and the ability to effectively resolve problems.
• Good understanding of scheduling.
• 1-3 years minimum.
• Ability to speak and listen effectively to follow instructions in English.
• Ability to write and speak complete sentences and understand verbal and written instructions in English

Responsibilities

• Operate horizontal and vertical lathes milling and grinding machines VTLs Jig Bores Bridgeport s rubber grinding Prototrack drill presses and other special shop equipment for repair of parts.
• Work from process travelers blueprints parts drawings manuals specifications and verbal directions to determine proper dimensions and tolerances of finished part sequence of operation and setup requirements.
• Measure mark and scribe dimensions and reference points on material.

Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform all other similar or related duties as required and/or directed within own or other work areas.
• Initiative and Ingenuity: Use of some judgment to comply with methods and instructions making minor decisions.

Physical Demand

• Moderate physical demand frequently lifting or moving average weight material.

Mental or Visual Demand

• Continuous mental and visual attention; usually repetitive work or diversified operations requiring constant alertness or activity.

Working Conditions

• Good shop working conditions.
• Exposed to any number of elements but none present to the extent of being disagreeable.
