Job Description:
- Critical Projects Implementation (CPI) has an immediate opening for a Technical Program Manager to scale standardized Method of Procedure (MOP) development for data center infrastructure projects.
- You will be responsible for developing and managing high-quality technical procedures that affect critical capacity delivery across AMER data center sites.
- The projects require timely execution with the highest degrees of security performance availability and reliability.
- You will act as a bridge between CPI and DCEO Principal Engineers site Chief Engineers and regional stakeholders that rely on our standardized procedures.
- Other responsibilities include defining MOP requirements planning delivery timelines coordinating DCEO reviews and managing the approval workflow through Policy.
- The TPM will provide escalation management anticipate and make tradeoffs and balance business needs versus technical constraints including safety quality and accuracy.
- We are a dynamic team within CPI that is pioneering an innovative Tier 1 Standard Work pathway to reduce approval timelines.

- A record of successful delivery of technical procedures from conception through DCEO review and site deployment.
- Ability to work the business side of projects to drive deployment of standardized MOPs across AMER sites.

Purpose of the Team and key projects:
- The Construction Coordination team exists to support the rapid scaling of client data center infrastructure across the Americas region. As Client continues aggressive expansion to meet customer demand retrofit projects require sophisticated financial coordination to ensure capital is deployed efficiently and projects stay on budget.
- The team serves as the critical bridge between Area Managers General Contractors Legal and Finance-managing the complex web of work orders change orders budget reallocations and contract modifications that keep retrofit projects moving. Without this coordination function projects would face delays in approvals budget misalignment and compliance gaps that could impact delivery timelines

This 12-month position will serve as the dedicated technical liaison between CPI and Data Center Engineering Operations (DCEO) focusing specifically on:
- Standard MOP Development: Creating high-quality repeatable Method of Procedures that meet DCEO engineering standards and can qualify for the Tier 1 Standard Work pathway
- DCEO Partnership Strengthening: Working directly with DCEO Principal Engineers site Chief Engineers and regional stakeholders to ensure technical procedures meet the highest safety accuracy and reliability standards
- Quality & Standardization: Establishing documented technical guidance that reduces variability captures lessons learned and creates clear decision frameworks-similar to standardization work being applied from recent program learnings
- Force Multiplication: Acting as a subject matter expert to support CPI Project Managers across multiple sites reducing planning phase LOE by >50% through reusable standard MOPs

Every standardized MOP you develop will be reused 10-20 times multiplying your impact exponentially. - Youll work with live data center electrical systems (UPS generators switchgear busway PDUs ATSs) where precision matters. This is technical program management in one of the most demanding environments-where your procedures directly impact safety availability and reliability for AWS customers globally.

Knowledge of data center electrical systems including UPS generators switchgear busway PDUs and ATSs and electrical safety practices. Good track record of working effectively across different groups in the organization including DCEO Principal Engineers MCM Bar Raisers site Chief Engineers and CPI PMs.

- Established working relationships with MCM Bar Raisers and Policy stakeholders
90-Day Success Metrics:
- Developed and gained DCEO approval for 3-5 Tier 1 Standard Work MOPs
- Reduced average MOP approval timeline from 14 days to < 5 days for standardized procedures
- Created MOP development framework/template that CPI PMs can use for future procedures
- Documented lessons learned from initial deployments and incorporated into refinement process
6-Month Success Metrics:
- Portfolio of 10-15 approved Tier 1 Standard Work MOPs covering high-frequency CPI project types
- Demonstrated reuse: At least 5 standardized MOPs deployed across multiple sites with minimal customization
- Measurable schedule acceleration: Projects using standardized MOPs show >50% reduction in planning phase LOE
