A growing and well-established outdoor construction and landscape services company is seeking an experienced Landscape Operations Foreman to lead field crews across residential and light commercial projects throughout the Twin Cities metro area. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who takes pride in delivering high-quality outdoor environments while maintaining strong crew productivity jobsite organization and customer satisfaction.

This is not a maintenance-only role. The position involves a combination of landscape construction irrigation systems grading hardscape installation outdoor feature development and crew supervision. The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading projects from layout through final walkthrough while ensuring timelines workmanship standards and safety expectations are consistently met.

The company specializes in customized outdoor projects including patios retaining walls drainage solutions irrigation systems outdoor living spaces and property enhancement projects for residential clients.

• Lead and supervise landscape construction crews on daily field operations
• Coordinate manpower equipment and materials to ensure smooth project execution
• Read and interpret project layouts site plans elevations and installation details
• Oversee installation of:
  • Paver patios
  • Retaining walls
  • Irrigation systems
  • Drainage systems
  • Plantings and grading
  • Outdoor landscape features
• Perform troubleshooting and field adjustments as needed during project execution
• Ensure projects are completed on time and according to quality standards
• Communicate effectively with project managers clients vendors and crew members
• Train and mentor crew members on proper installation methods and jobsite expectations
• Operate and oversee the use of landscape and construction equipment safely
• Conduct jobsite inspections to maintain safety compliance and workmanship standards
• Track daily production progress and assist with scheduling priorities
• Ensure tools vehicles and equipment are maintained and jobsite-ready
• Address field challenges proactively while maintaining professionalism with customers

• 8 years of experience within landscape construction hardscape or outdoor project operations
• Prior experience leading crews or managing field installations preferred
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Hardscape installation
  • Irrigation systems
  • Site preparation and grading
  • Drainage solutions
  • Outdoor construction practices
• Ability to interpret blueprints layouts and project specifications
• Experience operating skid steers compact equipment and landscape tools
• Strong understanding of field safety procedures and equipment handling
• Proven ability to manage crews maintain productivity and uphold installation quality
• Comfortable working in fast-paced outdoor environments and adapting to changing site conditions
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid drivers license required
• DOT certification irrigation certifications or industry-related credentials are a plus
