Business Analyst – Mobile Applications

Location: Jersey City NJ (Hybrid)

Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Business Analyst on behalf of our client in Jersey City NJ.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Business Analyst with experience supporting mobile application development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Agile environments requirements gathering stakeholder communication and mobile technology projects across iOS and Android platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather analyze and document business and functional requirements for mobile application projects.

• Collaborate with product owners developers QA teams and business stakeholders to define project scope and deliverables.

• Create user stories workflows process diagrams and acceptance criteria.

• Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning backlog grooming and daily stand-ups.

• Translate business needs into clear technical and functional specifications.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

• Assist in testing validation and user acceptance processes.

• Maintain project documentation using tools such as Jira Confluence and Visio.

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.

• At least 2 years of experience working on mobile application development projects.

• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Experience with requirements gathering business process modeling and documentation.

• Hands-on experience with Jira Confluence and MS Visio.

• Familiarity with mobile technologies including iOS Android APIs and push notifications.

• Excellent analytical communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid and collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in enterprise or financial services environments.

• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
