Job Summary

As a Security Analyst at VigorCare Pediatric Services you will be responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of our companys data and information systems. You will work closely with our IT team to identify potential security risks and implement measures to protect against them. Your role will also involve monitoring our systems for any security breaches and responding to them in a timely and effective manner.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in our systems

- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the protection of sensitive data

- Monitor our systems for any potential security breaches and respond to them promptly

- Perform regular security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies to continuously improve our security systems

- Train employees on security protocols and best practices to maintain a secure work environment

- Investigate and resolve any security incidents or breaches

- Communicate with external vendors and partners to ensure the security of shared data and systems

- Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning to ensure the availability of critical systems in the event of a security incident.

Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role preferably in the healthcare industry

- Strong knowledge of information security principles standards and best practices

- Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls intrusion detection systems and encryption methods

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Relevant security certifications such as CISSP or CISM are a plus.
